Otley Carnival 20 June 2026 - Possible Delays and Road Closures

Please Allow Extra Time Travelling to Buon Apps on Saturday 20 June
If you are joining us on Saturday 20 June, please allow extra time for your journey due to the Otley Carnival taking place in the town. It is usually held on the third Saturday in June so we’re expecting it to be on 20th June.
As with most large community events in Otley, there may be temporary road closures, traffic delays, diversions, and increased congestion around the town centre throughout parts of the day. The carnival parade is expected to affect movement through central Otley, particularly around lunchtime and early afternoon. Previous carnival announcements have confirmed rolling road closures during the parade itself.
We are very much open as normal and look forward to welcoming you, but we would recommend:
Leaving a little earlier than usual
Allowing extra time for parking
Checking local travel updates before setting off
Considering walking into town if you are local
Otley Carnival is always a fantastic event for the town and we are expecting the area to be especially busy across the weekend. Please plan ahead.
