Possible Road Closures in Otley: Sunday 10 May and Saturday 16 May 2026

Otley has two busy weekends coming up, so anyone planning to visit us should allow extra time for travel and parking.

Sunday 10th May - Rob Burrows Leeds Marathon

On Sunday 10 May, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Half Marathon will pass through Otley. Leeds City Council says further closures will take effect from 9:00am around Pool in Wharfedale and Otley, with the marathon starting at 9:00am. Run For All also advises that bus routes may be affected by diversions.

The route is expected to affect parts of Otley town centre, so please plan ahead if you are joining us for Sunday breakfast or lunch.

Sunday 16th May - Otley Show

The following Saturday, 16 May, is Otley Show at the Showground, Bridge End. Expect extra traffic, busy car parks and possible restrictions around Bridge End and the showground area.

Our advice is simple: leave a little earlier, check local travel updates before setting off, and give yourself time to park.
